Doha International Book Fair

Doha International Book Fair

The National Reading Campaign participated in the DIBF 2017. There was a discussion open to DIBF visitors to share their challenges and recommendations on how to promote a reading culture in Qatar. In addition to the surveys, the 'Island of knowledge' activity witnessed a huge turnout. Children had to read books around the distributed islands to solve questions and unlock the treasure. There was also a storytelling area open for all to enjoy.

Library of Wonders

In partnership with Qatar’s Ministry of Culture and Sports, Qatar Reads brings to you an interactive library experience that people of all ages will enjoy! To emphasise how each trip to a library can be different, we change the theme of our library periodically. The entire experience takes around 15 minutes and will engage the visitors and immerse them in a world of stories.

The theme of EMPOWER 2019, ROTA’s 11th Annual Youth Conference on Personal Leadership, Service Learning and Global Citizenship, was “Youth: A Catalyst for Peace and Dialogue for Development”. This year's event took place between 14-16 March at Hamad Bin Khalifa University in Education City.
